FAQ
1. What does ‘BINA’ mean?
In Silesian coming from Southern Poland, ‘BINA’ means… a bee. Like bees, we are hard at work and want to pollinate the will to learn languages in you and make you flourish.
2. How can I start lessons at BINA?
The first step to start lessons is to come to our school or contact us by phone or email. Then, during a short conversation, we will provide you with the most important information, we will define together your goals, expectations and preferences and we will ask you to complete a language level assessment test.
3. When can I sign up?
You can sign up for a course at any time.
The lessons take place throughout the school year and some of them also during holidays.
New group courses begin with the start of each trimester and you can join to all open groups at any time.
Individual courses start at any time according to the student’s needs.
4. How long is the course?
You sign up for the course according to the number of hours suggested in the offer/price list.
If you join the group during the trimester, it is calculated proportionally (you do not have to pay for the classes that the group has already completed).
If you choose an individual course, you are the one who decides when it starts and ends.
5. Are parents informed about their child’s learning progress?
In case of students under 18, our teachers and secretary’s office are in constant contact with their parents. The consultations with our tutors can be scheduled at any time during the course.
6. Will the group be formed for sure?
It depends on the number of applicants. The minimum number of people in a group is 3, the maximum is 10. If we do not gather the minimum number of people for the course to start, we will offer individual courses. If you are not interested in such a solution and you have already made a down payment, we will refund you 100% of the funds.
7. Does the school offer any discounts?
We are offering the following discounts:
-
10% discount for a one-time payment
-
5% discount for payment in two instalments
-
5% discount for each family member
-
TBD discount for children of low-income families
8. What if due to some reasons (for example, an epidemics), the classes can not take place at school?
In such cases, all classes will be automatically transferred to online classes which will take place via Skype or Zoom. Our students will be provided with the necessary information to log in and to contact the teacher.
