Terms and Conditions

§ 1. General information

 

1.1. These terms specify the rule of using services offered by BINA - École de langues and apply to every student of BINA - École de langues.

 

1.2. BINA - École de langues commits to:

 

  • Provide all information regarding the services offered by the school after the student’s application.

  • Take into consideration student’s comments in order to improve the quality of services offered by the school.

  • Comply with these Terms and Conditions

 

§ 2. Enrolment

 

2.1. Enrolment in the course is made by paying the cost of the course on the designated date and after agreeing on the course schedule and terms with the school administration by signing up a course contract.

 

 

§ 3. Organisation of classes

 

3.1. The school year lasts three trimesters. There are no classes on holidays and bank holidays. Detailed organisation for the whole school year is available at BINA - École de langues.

 

3.2. BINA - École de langue organises individual and group lessons on site, online, outdoors, at student’s place or at the premises of the company for which BINA - École de langues provides services.

 

3.3. The organisation of the school year at BINA - École de langues does not apply to students participating in individual courses or taking courses at companies. In these cases, the course length and the breaks between trimesters are determined individually.

 

3.4. Lessons take place according to the established schedule.

 

3.5. Students can catch up lessons which they missed. Catch up classes are performed during individual lessons for a fee charged on a case-by-case basis.

§ 4. Class size

 

4.1. Group courses have no less than three and no more than ten people. Courses for one person are considered as individual classes

 

 

§ 5. Course price

 

5.1. The price of the group course is available in the current price list, posted on fiche programme of each course.

 

5.2. The price of individual classes is calculated individually as it depends on the type of course chosen by the student.

 

5.3. The following payment methods are possible:

In case of payments made by bank transfer, proof of transfer should be sent via email.

All bank charges should be paid by student.

For each bank transfer payment student’s name along with bank transfer’s title must be stated.

 

5.4. It is possible to pay for the course in two or monthly instalments. Monthly instalments are fixed, regardless of the number of lessons in a month.

 

5.5. Students who joined the group course during the trimester shall pay the amount which is proportionally calculated. They do not pay for the classes that the group has already completed.

 

5.6. Absence from classes does not result in course fee reduction.

 

5.7. The course price does not include the fee for textbook.

 

 

§ 6. Changes and cancellations

 

 

6.1. The school reserves the rights to cancel classes in exceptional situations, such as illness of the teacher where no replacement can be provided. In such cases, classes are made up at a later date agreed with all group members.

 

6.2. Date change / cancellation of individual lessons should take place no later than 24 hours before the start of the lesson. Students shall inform BINA - École de langues  about any date change / cancellation by email at contact@bina.education or by phone: 0693 48 56 67

 

6.3. If the date change / cancellation notification is provided by student less than 24 hours before the start time of the lesson, the penalty of the total cost of one lesson will apply.

§ 7. Course resignation

7.1. Each student has the right to resign from the courses provided by BINA - École de langues at any time during the course.

 

7.2. Students shall provide an official letter of resignation at the school office.

 

7.3. Students shall pay the costs of the course until the end of the month in which they have given an official letter of resignation at school office.

 

7.4. Students who resign from the course are entitled to a refund of the fee previously paid.

 

§ 8. School rules

8.1.  All participants are required to respect the internal rules of the training organisation, which can be consulted on the notice board of the training organisation and on 

§ 9. Levels and course program

9.1. BINA - Language School guarantees a continuous and coherent progression. Our courses, with the exception of the "ECOLANGUAGE" course, are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), according to levels A1 (Introductory), A2 (Elementary), B1 (Threshold), B2 (Independent), C1 (Autonomous), C2 (Mastery) and integrate cultural and intercultural dimensions.

9.2. The result of your language level assessment test will determine the appropriate level.

§ 10. Image use

 

10.1. BINA - École de langues may take photos/ videos to be included in the promotional material (brochures, websites, catalogues, etc.) unless the student or his/her legal tutor say otherwise. Therefore students or parents who do not wish to have their photos/ videos taken must state their refusal when booking.

§ 11. Data protection

 

11.1. BINA - École de langues collects and processes data to manage effectively student registration and follow up. This data is reserved for internal use. For more details, please read our privacy policy under https://www.bina.education/en/privacy.

§ 12. Complaints

 

12.1. In case student is not satisfied with services provided by BINA - École de langues, a written complaint form (available at school administration) should be filled up and sent to the following email address: contact@bina.education or by post-mail to the school’s address.

 

12.2. Complaint will be processed within 14 working days from the date of receipt and a response will be sent to student’s email.

 

12.3. Complaints should be submitted no later than 60 days after completion of the course.

 

12.4. We remind our students that our Terms and Conditions are applicable.

§ 13. Applicable law

13.1. French law is applicable to these Terms and Conditions and to the contractual relationship between BINA - École de langues and its customers.
